Day 1
So, yesterday was my first day on the 90 Day Challenge. I heard that the first three days are the hardest. But so far, this has been..... not easy... but easier than I expected. I only felt hungry in mid afternoon, so I had a yougurt and a cheese string. I went to the store and got some other snacks too. Some low calorie granola bars, some fruit, and some other healthy snacks. I had a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, and chicken with carrots and brocolli for dinner. I also weighed and measured myself, and made a chart to keep track of everything. I have set my small goal of weight loss to anything under 200lbs. My ultimate goal I think will be somewhere around 170. I will post "before" pictures soon. Incase you were wondering. I first weighed in at 223lbs. Scary, I know. But before long hopefully I hit my first goal!!!!

Starting Tomorrow
My package just arrived in the mail. It has everything I need to start my new meal plan. I am very excited and can't wait to start. Updates to follow shortly!
Pre-Challenge Thoughts
So, my mom is interested in doing this "90 Day Challenge" by Visalus.... It's a meal replacement system that can help you with serveral goals, losing weight, maintaining weight and/or gaining muscle. I have been seriously concidering some sort of nurtition system to help me on my journey to a healthier me, and since she offered to pay for this system for the first 30 days for me (so I could be her partner in crime for this challenge) I decided to give it a try. After all, I can stop any time I want. I have tried a lot of things trying to change my lifestyle to a healther one, and I am worried that replacing meals isn't going to do anything for me. But that being said, I have tried so many things, and making a shake is wayyyy easier than planning out meals for a week in advance so I can grocery shop. I mean, it won't hurt me, I hope.... But I do know, I have to do something to change my lifestyle, and one of my main problems is I don't always pack a lunch, or I am running too late to have breakfast, so maybe this shake replacement thing will work for me. I am going to keep this blog to prove to myself whether it is working. Updated it every day I can to see if I feel better, look better, or even start eating better.
So, today, as usual, I am tired. I woke up early for a walk today and then came to work. I haven't had much water today, which reminds me, I should fill my water bottle.... After lunch I will probably feel even more tired and not be as productive as I am in the morning. By dinner time I will be starving and I will eat as much as I possibly can.... feel sick afterwards, and then eat some sort of junk food because once again I feel my "diet" isn't working and I might as well die happy than hungry.
